Chicago’s Dana Hotel Sculpture

Here is my newest 4 x 13 foot multi-sculpture work installed in the Portsmith Restaurant at Chicago’s new Dana Hotel & Spa. Titled “Pailettes De La Mer” (Sequins of the Sea), it is comprised of abstract, gold-rimmed porcelain barnacles.

It is called Acque Di Luna Piena ( Full Moon Waters), and was commissioned by the award-winning Chicago interior designer Anthony Michael. This aligns with my sea theme but in this case the interior designer requested I complete it with a creamy satin white glaze.
