Many thanks to Boston interior designer Manuel DeSantaren for introducing this, my newest, and largest hand-formed porcelain sculpture to his client. As is the case with each of my works, every twist and turn must be supported until the work is bone dry–this was no exception and was one of my most challenging to execute.
