Titled “Lovesong” after the heirloom rose, this is one of several new pieces I have created with a very refined Australian porcelain and continues my theme of the abstract rose. While the raw porcelain is snowy white, once fired and glazed in white, it is a bit warmer–like cream–and where the petals are thin enough, a little light passes through.
