Many thanks to Sallie Hirshberg of SH Modern Art, Fort Meyers for bringing me together with her private collectors to create this 30" x 30" ceramic sculpture in porcelain. Titled "Die Kunst Des Rises" (The Art of Ice), my inspiration came from a frozen harbor breaking up under a warm winter sun. Unglazed porcelain, it is detailed in 23k gold leaf. David K. & I installed it; profuse thanks to David for perfect calculations to get this to sit flat on a curved wall.
